As our Sales Director, your primary responsibility will be to define and implement our Strategic Market and Business Development plans for your region, aimed at optimizing admissions and promoting growth in our census. You will also collaborate with our team of Business Development Managers to enhance key account relationships, thereby improving our referral flow and gaining a competitive edge.

**Collaboration**

- Work closely with the Executive Director and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute the sales and marketing plan.

- Meet the sales activity standards set by the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, which include quotas for daily follow-up calls to the lead database, appointments, on-site and off-site sales activities, and other sales-related performance metrics.

- Host events for leads and professionals to boost community traffic.

- Demonstrate proficiency in pulling, analyzing, and completing sales reports.

**Development and Maintenance of Standards**

- Interpret and implement management policies.

- Provide regular in-service training and orientation for all frontline and management staff.

- Maintain a thorough understanding of current competition, as well as any new entrants or changes in the market.

- Exhibit excellent sales skills by establishing and maintaining client relationships, discovering clients' needs and desires regarding community products and services, and effectively managing closing and post-sales activities. Utilize good listening techniques and demonstrate exceptional customer service.

- Complete and maintain the company CRM (Customer Relationship Management system) for all potential residents and referral contacts within 24 hours of activity, including documentation of all completed and scheduled sales activities, such as move-ins and move-outs.

**Experience and Education**

- Knowledge of the sales process.

- Ability to lead a sales department, including hiring, training, motivating, and managing a sales staff.

- Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing) or courses that build knowledge in business, sales, motivation, communication, and related marketing skills.

- A minimum of two (2) years of previous sales experience is required, preferably in the Senior Living industry, with a significant level of responsibility and accountability for achieving goals.

- Experience working with seniors is preferred.

- A valid driver’s license is required.

- Strong ability to speak and write effectively to present information, solutions, and benefits.

- Proven ability to sell effectively and close transactions.

- Proficiency in articulating our products, services, solutions, and value to prospects and professional referral partners.
