Summary

Supervise the warehouse which handles receiving of inventory, storage, recordkeeping and movement throughout the company by subordinates. This position must understand and ensure inventory accuracy and product movement which supports production, purchasing and sales groups. Supervises periodic audits supporting accuracy. Oversees and supervises the generation of Kan Ban cards as needed with Production administrator. Manages the level build of products in productions to meet sales needs at year end. Works on MRP projects and how this relates to production needs and fulfillments.

Trains, develops and coaches subordinates.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Supervise all aspects of Inventory Control (Warehouse and Expeditors)
  • Transact daily inventory movements
  • Fix PO/Receiving Issues
  • Perform BOM Audits
  • Generate RID List and manage disposal
  • Work with all departments on Organizational projects
  • Manage Time Sheets in Paychex
  • Perform Random Inventory audits
  • Work with Material Handlers on Standard routes and routines
  • Work with Material Handlers and Cells on product deliveries ( frequency & amounts )
  • Bank and Outside Audit Support
  • Provide Sales Opportunities to Sales group
  • Factory Sale Support
  • Assist in researching Inventory discrepancies
  • Training of employees as needed
  • Process improvements in all phases of Inventory

Supervises Warehouse personnel and Production Administrator.

Education/Experience

Requires a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College/University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
