Editorial and technical Editor
1. Provides substantive editing, copy editing, and proofreading of a variety of intelligence products.
2. Reviews intelligence products and provides substantive technical feedback to stakeholders based on
subject-matter expertise of intelligence writing and tradecraft standards.
3. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing.
4. Publishes and disseminates intelligence products to stakeholders and CBP partners.
Requirements

Qualifications
- Incumbent is responsible for the Office of Intelligence production cycle and implementing the Intelligence Enterprise (IE) style guide practices and standards.
- Knowledge of CBP Intelligence IE borders security mission, functions, processes, policies, regulations, authorities, and partnerships.
- Building, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with internal and external stakeholders by regular routine outreach, coordination, and collaboration in furtherance of the development of finished intelligence and products.
- Ensure that all intelligence and analytical products comply with ICD standards or community trade craft.
- Review and analyze raw and finished intelligence reporting and utilizing systematic and comprehensive research techniques, identify and evaluate the capabilities, composition, and nature of threats posed by the adversary. In addition, assess the impact of those threats to CBP's border mission and provide high-quality, prompt recommendations and risk analysis support to stakeholders and decision makers according to their timelines.
- Produce substantive, high-quality finished intelligence products and briefings that inform CBP and IC stakeholders on all threats. In addition, produce or assist in the production of substantive, high-quality intelligence products that inform CBP and IC stakeholders on all current and emerging trends, threats, and address intelligence gaps.

- Phase 1: Establish assignment objectives within the first 30 days of the JDA.
- Phase 2: Complete a self-assessment of the duties performed at the mid-point of the JDA.
- Phase 3: Complete a final review within the last 30 days of the JDA.
