Job Description:

The Marketing Specialist at ILM is a multifaceted role designed to support and enhance the efforts of our sales and marketing teams. This individual will play a crucial part in planning, executing, and measuring the success of various marketing campaigns and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and an excellent communicator, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Follow-up:

  • Identify potential clients through various channels and generate leads for the sales team.

Marketing Campaigns and Sales Strategies:

  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
  • Organize brand and event marketing plans and tactics, including email campaigns, internal communications, attendee communications, collateral, and event marketing activations using owned, earned, and paid marketing channels.
  • Event planning and organization

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create and manage social media content, including writing posts and creating graphics.
  • Assist in creating email campaigns and newsletters aimed at lead generation.
  • Manage and update website content in line with the overall company marketing and sales strategy.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing and sales strategies.
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline using CRM software (Pipedrive), ensuring accurate tracking of progress.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Partner with the technology team to create and manage the development of marketing materials supporting sales outreach, such as case studies, presentations, whitepapers, and infographics.
  • Assist the sales team in creating client presentations and support the internal team with internal presentations.
  • Coordinate and attend networking events and trade shows, representing ILM and fostering strategic partnerships.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a marketing or sales coordinator role, preferably within the technology sector.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking and engaging with clients and vendors over the phone.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with cloud-based services such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
  • Experience with CRM and automation tools, such as HubSpot.
  • Social media management and content creation experience.
