Senior Project Manager - SCM S4

12-month Contract

Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from ideation to implementation, including new software systems, product launches, system upgrades, and facility expansions.
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated business area timelines and governance across engineering, warehousing, data management, and validation.
  • Implement project management best practices globally while ensuring regional standardization for warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Field Service, and other business units.
  • Partner with business PMs to facilitate core team and executive steering committee meetings, providing status updates and strategic insights.
  • Identify and resolve project constraints, conflicts, and risks to ensure timely execution.
  • Oversee project deliverables, including kickoff presentations, detailed schedules, budgets, blueprints, test plans, training plans, and organizational change management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal business, quality system requirements, and external regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with third-party system integrators, SAP Services, and service providers for seamless project implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience leading major cross-functional projects in manufacturing operations.
  • Strong background in SAP ERP implementations (ECC6.0/S4 HANA), with at least 2 full-cycle implementations in mid-size industries and 1 in a large manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing SAP S/4 HANA projects in multinational settings with Agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in MS Office, JIRA, and project management tools (MS Project/Smartsheet).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Medical device industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience supervising people is preferred.
  • PMP or Scrum Master (CSM) certification is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
