    • Minimum of two years of experience in healthcare
    • Medical records experience preferred

    • Manage multiple priorities well and follow-through
    • Strong accountability and reliability
    • Strong attention to detail
Essential Duties:
  • Carefully prepare and organize patient charts for upcoming appointments or admissions, ensuring that all required documents and records are in order. Additionally, properly breakdown and store completed charts according to established guidelines.
  • Scan medical records utilizing electronic systems, ensuring all patient information is accurately digitized.
  • Answer phone calls for medical records requests
  • Fulfill external records requests
  • Faxor mail completed medical records efficiently to required parties
  • Regularly audit and review medical records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established standards and regulations. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors, and implement improvements to enhance the overall quality and reliability of the records.
  • Assist in training new hires as needed
  • Offer coaching to team members as needed
