Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure accurate reporting across multiple business units
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with strict adherence to accounting standards

- Monitor sales performance, gross margins, and operational KPIs across various retail and digital channels
- Assess and optimize supply chain costs, vendor agreements, and procurement efficiency
- Prevent inventory shrinkage, overstocking, and stockouts through disciplined financial oversight
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with multi-unit retail operations
- Support funding efforts, including bank relationships, credit management, and investor reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards
- Lead system integrations and process automation, ensuring adaptability to evolving technology stacks
- Act as a technology advocate, leveraging data-driven tools and ERP enhancements for financial efficiency
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, supply chain, and e-commerce
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in financial management within a multi-business-unit retail environment (apparel industry experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations
- Proficient in ERP systems, QuickBooks, and Excel (experience with NetSuite, SAP, or other cloud-based financial systems is a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to and integrate new financial technology stacks
- Experience with inventory accounting, purchase order management, and supply chain finance
- Strong understanding of cash flow management, financial forecasting, and budgeting
- Highly self-motivated and independent, capable of managing complex financial operations with minimal oversight
- Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to solving financial and operational challenges
