Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Project Manager to oversee a full-life cycle implementation for a complex ERP project. This project has completed the assessment phase, and the focus will be on the design phase through to deployment and post-go-live support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle Fusion and Oracle E-Business Suite implementations, with a solid background in ERP systems, particularly in Finance, Supply Chain, Light Manufacturing, Quality, and GXP.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Oracle Fusion project from the design phase through deployment and post-go-live support.
  • Plan and develop the project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, setting and managing deadlines effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any risks or obstacles that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
  • Ensure high stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize leadership skills to foster collaboration and build a strong, cohesive project team.
  • Lead the development and presentation of project status updates, ensuring transparency at all levels, including to executive management.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication across all project stakeholders, including internal teams and external vendors.
  • Leverage SmartSheet, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Visio to support project tracking and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in ERP implementations, with a focus on Oracle Fusion and Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • In-depth experience in implementing and managing all Finance modules, Supply Chain, Light Manufacturing, Quality, and GXP (GXP experience is highly preferred).
  • Proven ability to plan and develop project scope, set and meet deadlines, and lead large-scale, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage project progress while staying within budget.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to executive management.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in SmartSheet, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Visio (Visio is a plus).

Additional Information:

  • Hybrid work model (2-3 days on-site in San Diego, CA).
  • Occasional travel to Minnesota as required for the project.
  • Contract role with an expected duration based on project milestones.
