Supply Chain Manager
Riverlink is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for a well-established privately owned company in the Minneapolis/St Paul area. This role is pivotal to the organization, responsible for overseeing both Purchasing and Production Planning to optimize inventory and ensure timely delivery.
Position Summary: The Supply Chain Manager will lead strategy development for inventory and production capacity, maintain KPIs, enhance ERP system functionality, and establish and enforce department SOPs. Building strong relationships with national and international suppliers to ensure quality, on-time delivery is a key responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory, production, and demand alignment.
- Lead purchasing, negotiate supplier contracts, and address performance issues.
- Enhance ERP systems for automation, reporting, and process efficiency.
- Create and enforce SOPs while resolving quality, shipping, and production challenges.
- Analyze costs, manage budgets, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Build supplier networks and stay current on industry trends.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in supply chain/production planning with 3+ years in leadership within ERP/MRP environments.
- Strong ERP knowledge; APICS certification preferred but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
