Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of business development executives from 5 to 11 members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth, targeting new markets and expanding the customer base across North America, managing approximately $100 million in revenue.
  • Performance Management: Establish clear performance metrics and goals for the business development team, regularly reviewing progress and providing coaching to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial sector, leveraging market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and approach.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, to enhance the company's market presence and reputation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Possesses experience in a sales leadership role within the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) sector, fasteners or a related industry.
  • Experience building high-performing teams
  • Ability to travel about 50% throughout North America
