Description:
This resource will help end users understand our Microsoft applications and launch multimedia training offerings to accommodate different learning styles, leading to a more engaged and knowledgeable workforce. Ultimately, the trainer will help increase overall user satisfaction and proficiency with our critical technologies, which is key to maintaining key performance indicators and working toward Austin Energy s strategic goals.
Required Skills:
8+ Years of Analysis Experience monitoring technology trends and assessing training program effectiveness.
8+ Years of Live Events - Experience planning and leading events, both in-person and online. Experience with hosting virtual meetings, including screen sharing and chat monitoring. Experience with training logistics such as scheduling, enrollment and materials distribution.
8+ Years of Writing - Experience with both technical writing (runbooks) and end-user writing (newsletters, knowledge base documents, governance documents). Ability to meet tight writing deadlines.
8+ Years of Video creation and editing Experience utilizing video editing tools such as Adobe Captivate to create engaging and professional training videos.
8+ Years of M-365 Administrative or Power-User experience in M-365 products such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and the Power Platform.
Preferred Skills:
1 Year of Artificial Intelligence Administrative or Power-User experience with a Microsoft Copilot product or offering. Ability to draft effective prompts. An understanding of the security risks associated with Large Language Models.
2 Years of Whiteboard technology Experience utilizing live collaboration tools such as Microsoft Whiteboard or Miro to lead online training and events
