Staffing & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain consistent and reliable staffing and scheduling calendars for multiple hospital campuses.
- Ensure adequate provider coverage to support patient care while balancing provider workload.
- Adjust schedules proactively in response to census trends, provider availability, and hospital needs.
- Work closely with providers to manage shift changes and ensure smooth transitions.
- Standardize scheduling processes to create a structured and predictable system for providers.
- Maintain consistency in operations, minimizing last-minute changes or disruptions to provider schedules.
- Proactively track and monitor census throughout the day to ensure appropriate provider coverage.
- Oversee and enhance daily census tracking for improved accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Quickly identify and address discrepancies in census data to avoid inefficiencies.
- Analyze census trends to anticipate staffing needs and optimize resource allocation.
- Provide regular insights and reports to the Executive Director to inform strategic planning.

- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in hospital operations, scheduling, or census management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and processes effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret census data and recommend improvements.
