McHales is seeking an experiencedHVAC Sales Manager to lead our teams and ensure operational excellence. We are dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our customers while cultivating a workplace that values growth, balance, and collaboration. As the residential HVAC Sales and Service Manager, you’ll oversee a talented team of technicians and play a pivotal role in shaping the department’s success. You’ll be empowered to lead, train, and mentor, ensuring each team member reaches their full potential.Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead a high-performing team of residential HVAC technicians, focusing on skill-building, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor HVAC service technicians to enhance their sales skills, focusing on promoting HVAC retrofit installations and additional products, such as Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) solutions, to meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and implement effective sales training programs for service technicians, ensuring they can confidently identify customer needs and recommend HVAC upgrades, retrofit installations, and value-added products.
- Monitor and assess technician performance, offering regular feedback and coaching.
- Conduct weekly team meetings to review goals, discuss challenges, and align on safety and service standards.
- Work closely with dispatch and customer service to streamline operations and meet client needs.
- Optimize schedules to ensure timely service while managing seasonal demands.
- Analyze departmental metrics and prepare reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
- At least five (5) years of experience in residential HVAC service, sales, or a leadership role within the industry.
- Demonstrated ability to train and develop service technicians in consultative sales techniques, including selling HVAC retrofit installations and related products.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, retrofit solutions, and value-added products such as IAQ equipment.
- A proven track record of successfully managing a service team.
- Familiarity with industry-specific tools and software (ServiceTitan).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on driving results.
- A commitment to providing excellent customer service and fostering team growth.
- Eligibility to pass background checks and drug screening.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
