We are looking for a highly skilled motion designer and video editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing videos and creating sophisticated motion graphics for various platforms. This candidate will inspire others within the company's Creative Studio and will work closely with our Design, Content and Brand Studios. The ideal candidate will have a seasoned background in video production and a passion for storytelling, design, new media, and technology. This individual will also be proficient in multi-camera editing, color correction, audio mastering, and from-scratch graphic and motion design. The right candidate will be adept at using digital asset managers and industry-standard software including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Creative Cloud software.

Responsibilities:
  • Video Editing: Edit high-quality videos, ensuring a polished final product that meets brand standards and project requirements.
  • Motion Graphics: Create sophisticated 2D motion graphics to enhance video content, making it visually engaging and dynamic.
  • Color Correction & Grading: Understanding of different color spaces such as SLog, CLog, DLOG, ARRI and HLS color to Rec709 to enhance visual quality and maintain consistency across all video content, whether through Lumetri Color, Cinematch, or Davinci Resolve.
  • Audio Mastering: Master audio tracks to ensure clarity, balance, and overall quality in the final video production. Use nascent machine-learning tools to clean up audio to be its best, and create a balanced mix of music, VO, and foley FX.
  • Graphic Design: Utilize graphic design skills to create visually appealing elements for video and motion graphics projects. Often working from a style guide, this role iterates and extends existing design creative for video.
  • Digital Asset Management: Efficiently organize and manage digital assets using digital asset management systems such as Frame.io, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize industry-standard software including Premiere Pro and After Effects to execute video and motion graphics projects.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, Project manager, and other Video Editors to ensure the creative vision is achieved in all video projects.

  • Experience: Proven experience working with major agencies and/or brands, with a strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated motion graphics and video editing work.
  • Skills: Exceptional skills in multi-camera editing, color correction, audio mastering, and graphic design. A solid and demonstrable understanding of animation principles is a must.
  • Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and experience with digital asset management systems. Proficiency in Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus. Experience with AI image and video generation also a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Creative Vision: Ability to translate creative concepts into visually compelling video content.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Use of proxies, proper ingest, and familiarity with exporting content for various platforms.
