Position Overview:
The PBS Social Media team manages all General Audience platforms that represent the shows and brand. Those platforms include but are not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads. The team is seeking an intern to work across various areas of social media with a key focus on brand and editorial content.
The PBS Social Intern will assist in content creation and content management, monitor comments and conversations across platforms and help to facilitate engagement efforts. During the internship, the intern will work closely alongside the team on day-to-day content creation, scheduling and community engagement. At the end of the internship, the intern will walk away with a portfolio of work for a legacy brand and a stronger grasp on engagement led social strategies.

Time Commitment: May 27, 2025 – August 15, 2025
Compensation: Undergraduate students receive $15/hour, graduate students receive $17/hour

- Strong understanding of social media trends and platforms
- Experience creating social content
- Willingness to learn
- Strong copywriting skills
