Position Overview
Designs for Health will provide a 6-month virtual rotational associate opportunity for students/graduates wanting to earn certain categories of credentialing hours for the CNS, experiential learning in the nutraceutical industry, and involvement in functional testing assessment/development.
Associates will form part of an inter-departmental objective, servicing various departments and their needs. All associates need to complete 5 hours of work per week to equal 50 hours of work for the team. In the event of the absence of an associate for emergency reasons, the rest of the team needs to maintain the 50 hour per week requirement. Team communication is vital for successful completion of all projects.

Position Overview

Essential Job Duties
- Associates form a team of 10, working as a unit producing 50 hours per week of objectives.
- Associates are required to attend bi-weekly meetings to review progress of projects and assignments, under the supervision of Dr. Oscar Coetzee, the Senior Director of Clinical Education, and a Certified Board Supervisor for the CNS.
- Improve user experience and simplicity of DFH website.
- Update and improve Drug Nutrient Interaction Platform.
- Support Science Writing Team in research for protocol development, e-Books, patient fact sheets and practitioner tech sheets.
- Assist Research and Development Team with upcoming “Claim Substantiating Document Process”.
- Assist in writing and publishing SAB members and HCP’s case studies, by using the CARE guidelines template for publication in medical journals. (Your name will appear on the publication).
- Represent DFH at conference in your regional area.
- Develop and review current education materials, nutritional protocols in DFH Protocol Centers and Well World App.
- Assist the Spotlight Clinical Support Team with GI, Metabolomics and Genomics assessments and interpretation for practitioners.
- Assist in LMS change from Bridge to Teachables and Onboard categorizing and sorting out content in a more user-friendly manner for end user.
- Develop student and academic relations with universities as a brand ambassador for DFH.
- Assist in the groundwork for the successful launch of the CASI conference for 2025.
- Assist in the Learning Collective Series by developing content and PowerPoints for new product launches.
- Develop and create new educational content for FMCs to better assist HCPs.
- Miscellaneous, several tasks might evolve or be random.
- Graduate-level Degree in nutrition or similar (health sciences) at Master’s or Doctorate Level
- Clinical experience in integrative health is preferred
- Graduate courses completed in functional testing, with experience in metabolomics, genomics and GI required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an individual and team role.
