The ideal candidate will focus on designing and optimizing SQL-based solutions, managing data pipelines, and supporting cloud-based data architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
SQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and database procedures for efficient data processing and retrieval.
Google Cloud Platform Integration: Work with Google Cloud Platform services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage to design and implement scalable data solutions.
Data Management: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across multiple databases and cloud environments.
Python Scripting: Utilize Python for automation, data transformation, and workflow optimizations as needed.
ETL Pipeline Development: Design and maintain efficient ETL processes to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize database performance, query execution, and indexing strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for SQL scripts, data models, and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
SQL Expertise: Strong knowledge of SQL, query optimization, indexing, and database management.
Google Cloud Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, such as:
BigQuery
Dataflow
Cloud Storage
[Optional: Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, etc.]
Python Scripting: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python for automation and data processing.
ETL & Data Pipelines: Experience in building, managing, and optimizing ETL workflows.
Data Modeling: Understanding of relational database modeling and best practices.
