Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Tableau Developer to design, develop, and manage interactive dashboards and reports that deliver data-driven business insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and BI reporting, along with expertise in SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of Tableau dashboards and reports.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Optimize data extraction, transformation, and visualization for maximum performance efficiency.
Integrate Tableau with various data sources such as SQL Server, Snowflake, AWS, Google BigQuery, etc.
Develop and maintain data models, calculations, and KPIs for effective analytics.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance across reports and dashboards.
Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize queries for large datasets.
Guide and mentor a team of Tableau developers, ensuring best practices and standards are maintained.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams for end-to-end BI solutions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in Tableau development, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
Strong proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.
Solid understanding of Tableau Server/Cloud deployment and administration.
Ability to work with large datasets and optimize dashboards for high performance.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
Experience in leading teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred: Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
