Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Core Network and Transport Project Manager with a strong background in the Telco IT domain. The ideal candidate will lead complex network projects focused on deploying GPON, PON, and XGSPON technologies while also managing end-to-end IP core network projects. You will oversee projects from installation to management and automation of physical network infrastructure, as well as drive network transport and switching solutions, including routing systems and DWDM technology implementations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage network projects across the Telco IT domain, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Primary Focus:
    • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of GPON, PON, and XGSPON solutions.
  • IP Core Network Oversight:
    • Manage end-to-end projects related to IP core networks including installation, management, transportation, and automation of physical equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
  • Network Solutions & Transport:
    • Develop and implement network solutions for transport and switching, focusing on routing systems, services, and DWDM technology.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure seamless integration and project success.
  • Risk & Quality Management:
    • Identify potential risks, conduct thorough analyses, and implement mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance with industry best practices and standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Provide regular project updates and maintain comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.


Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Proven project management experience in the Telco IT domain.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with GPON, PON, and XGSPON technologies.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience managing IP core network projects involving physical equipment (Cisco, Juniper) from installation to automation.
  • Familiarity with network transport and switching solutions, including DWDM technology and routing system implementations.
