  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Marketing Manager with a focus on events experience to lead the development and execution of Workday s Proprietary and industry events strategies and experiences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Lead the strategy, planning and executions of proprietary events and select sponsored industry events both in person and hybrid to increase brand consideration, drive net new opportunities and support pipeline progression.
  • Create project plans, budgets and RACIs, ensuring delivery against timelines and within budgets.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and third party vendors to achieve the best outcome and experience for Workday and our customers/prospects.
  • Support the experience onsite at Flagship events, Rising and DevCon, with potential for other onsite as well
  • Integration into all event internal workstreams to lead the social strategy and buy-in from internal stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor staff and volunteers to ensure smooth onsite experiential experience.
  • Work with EMEA team members to bring connection across NA and EMEA events experience.
  • Identify and implement innovative event concepts to enhance attendee attendance and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of social channel best practices and optimal creative formats and experience in creating and editing videos.
  • Partner with Paid Media team to plan paid social connection with events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Conduct post event evaluations to assess and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze event data and provide comprehensive reports on event and experiences against KPIs.
  • Co-create an executive engagement plan to deliver against business objectives leveraging executive voices to support events.
  • Define and implement the overall event engagement strategy aligned with company goals and target audience.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of multichannel experiential event experience within Enterprise/SaaS based companies delivering large scale events.
  • Demonstrable experience creating and delivering large scale B2B events.
  • Experience in designing physical and hybrid customer event experiences.
  • Track record of developing and executing successful social media engagement programs in a B2B environment.
  • Deep understanding of executive-level communication and relationship building.
  • Ability to understand and communicate with live production, event build vendors.

Other Qualifications

  • Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with external vendors, sponsors and partners.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering social media experiences for events from audience acquisition to onsite presence to post-event experience.
  • Strong knowledge of video best practices for LinkedIn and experience in creating and editing videos.
  • Executive stakeholder management skills (engaging and influencing) and ability to build constructive and effective relationships .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to liaise with stakeholders at varying levels.
  • Solid data analysis skills in analyzing and gaining insights from data gathered during campaigns.
  • Outcome orientation; quickly take strategy to flawless execution of integrated campaigns.
  • Ability to deliver business results, showcasing a flexible demeanor, integrity and dedication to quality.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
