We are seeking a detail-oriented Remote Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our products by executing manual test cases, identifying bugs, and verifying fixes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute manual test cases on various websites and mobile applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Identify, document, and track platform defects using bug-tracking tools.
  • Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not affect other functionalities.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and provide feedback.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Participate in test planning and requirement analysis.
  • Report test results and provide insights to improve product quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing techniques and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in manual software testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with API testing and database testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation testing across Android and iOS.
  • Understanding of Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
  • BrowserStack or Sauce Labs: Experience with these cloud platforms for cross-device testing.
  • Familiarity with Xcode and Android Studio.
