Job Description
Job summary:
As a WMP Intern, you will work with the broader Wealth Management Platforms team, as well as other internal partners, to contribute to successful outcomes for clients by delivering a best-in-class personalized experience and elevating Invesco capabilities/relevance on wealth management platforms.
Your role:
- Support strategic initiatives for WMP Strategic Account Managers and Investment Due Diligence professionals
- Learn Invesco’s investment strategies (Funds, SMA’s, ETF’s, etc.) by asset class and how they are positioned on client platforms
- Conduct competitor research to identify potential opportunities and threats to existing products, and to effectively position IVZ strategies versus peers
- Share relevant articles and white papers with WMP partners to promote discussion and evaluation of industry/asset class trends
- Contribute to team discussions and preparation for client meetings
- Assist team with ad-hoc projects
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree graduating between December 2025 and Summer 2026 with a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Basic understanding of mutual funds and financial markets
- Understanding of asset management/wealth management industry
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Proficient across Microsoft office, with strong command of Excel
- Comfortable working with learning/using new software; basic knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated and driven; seeks high quality execution and engagement
- Able to manage & prioritize multiple tasks
- Self-starter with a knack to “figure things out”
