Account Manager
We are looking for an exceptional individual to join my clients team as an Account Manager.
Account Managers are the backbone of any client team, ensuring campaigns are executed seamlessly, deadlines are met, and clients are satisfied. They are highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivating leaders who go beyond expectations—driving impactful results, supporting new business efforts, and bringing creative and strategic ideas to life.
As an Account Manager, you will be a trusted partner for both clients and junior team members. You’ll serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, leading calls, overseeing key initiatives, and proactively identifying opportunities or challenges that require leadership input. Additionally, you may manage direct reports, helping to shape their professional growth and guide them toward success.
Your Responsibilities:
- Successfully manage 5-6 accounts, ensuring client goals are consistently met or exceeded.
- Act as the team lead, communicating with clients and delegating tasks effectively.
- Develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
- Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering their professional development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, media, and industry influencers.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring alignment with the scope of work.
- Become an expert in your client’s business, providing strategic insights and recommendations.
What You Bring:
- Recent agency experience with a strong background in communications, PR, or marketing.
- Proven expertise in media relations, content development, and social media with clear examples of successful campaigns.
- B2B technology experience in industries such as AdTech/MarTech, CleanTech, SaaS, FinTech, Security, Data & Analytics, or related fields.
- Strong leadership and mentorship experience, with a passion for developing junior talent.
- Integrated communications/marketing experience (preferred, but not required).
- A curious and strategic mindset, with a strong understanding of business impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting to clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
