Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Creative Content to join Rachel Harrison Communications working in our digital team across our hospitality clients. This person should be a digital native with a keen understanding of the social media landscape and digital storytelling. They should have prior agency experience working in social media management & production, with a strong portfolio showing experience creating original and compelling visual content that drives brand awareness. Experience working with hospitality clients (drinks, bars, restaurants, hotels) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design content strategies for hospitality clients for use across social media
  • Deliver highly engaging and compelling content (visual) from start to finish that is inline with agreed client plans and objectives
  • Analyze industry trends and identify key moments to create strategic and compelling content that aligns with our clients' brand identities
  • Interpret the client’s business needs into clear creative digital briefs
  • Oversee the production and direction of client shoots using external photographers and videgraphers across a range of budget levels
  • Monitor and analyse content creation and wider social trends, and adjust accordingly to ensure RHC is at the forefront of digital storytelling.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in content strategy and digital marketing, with a proven track record of creating high-quality content and driving engagement across multiple digital platforms.
  • End-to-end content creation experience, including videography, editing, photography, and visual design, with demonstrable expertise in producing compelling content from concept to completion.
  • Proficient in graphic design and editing software, including Adobe Suite and Canva.
  • Deep understanding of Instagram & TikTok, with extensive knowledge of platform evolution and algorithm changes.
  • Ability to develop and execute a long-term creative content strategy that aligns with business goals while maintaining a brand’s unique voice.
  • Strong ability to identify and leverage emerging trends using analytic tools to inform content strategy.
  • Experience in creating and editing social media graphics.
  • Skilled in budget management across various content initiatives.
  • Comfortable producing content under tight deadlines, from ideation to execution.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple projects with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proven experience managing and mentoring junior team members, with the ability to delegate effectively.
