Consilio's ELS Direct Hire division is seeking an Office Manager/Event Manager on behalf of a law firm in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, managing administrative staff and operations and event planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee social and client events in office.
  • Communicate job expectations; coach and manage employees.
  • Collect feedback, write, and deliver LEA, Office Services, and Client Services evaluations.
  • Interact with property management and local subtenants.
  • Ensure that the entire office is maintained at a high standard of professional appearance and that conference rooms, visitor offices, and kitchen/lounge facilities are clean and ready for use.
  • Manage and coach Office Services, Legal Executive Assistants, and Client Service employees, as well as local Non-Exempt staff.
  • Act as initial contact for employee relations issues; escalate when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with Firm policies and procedures.
  • All other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years in hospitality/management in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Professional demeanor and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
