Producer

RDM is seeking a full-time Producer in the West Coast area to join our busy production / creative team. This is a remote position.

About the Position

As a Producer at RDM you will be the backbone of the projects you work on and the videos you oversee. Your primary goal is to build successful long-term relationships with the clients you collaborate with while delivering stunning video content that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations. This is a highly visible role which includes communicating with clients and team members on a daily basis. You should have experience managing the day-to-day operations necessary to see your projects through to completion - from developing initial bids and estimates, overseeing the pre-production process (including hiring and managing crew), owning the needs of physical production, communicating and elevating needs to our Head of Production, regular and detailed communication with our Project Manager to ensure a smooth post-production and delivery process, post-wrap accounting and expense reconciliation with our Bookkeeper. Our team will also depend on you to give your projects direction and maintain a clear strategy to achieve the very best outcome for each client.

Typical Activities

• The day-to-day management of clients’ video needs
• Pro-active leadership that encourages teams to perform to the best of their ability
• Working with the post team to see that your project is completed to RDM's standards
• Working with our finance team to ensure prompt billing and payment for your projects
• Completing projects to a specific schedule and within an agreed budget
• Attending productions to manage overall execution when needed, as well as running productions from behind a desk when you can't be on-site.

Your Strengths

• Client-Facing Experience
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors
• Proficiency in Showbiz Budgeting
• Proficiency in AICP Bid Form
• Proficiency in Script Breakdown & Scheduling
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Google Drive and Google Chat
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment
