Data Analyst Network Services

JOB SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to perform analysis, forecasting, modeling, tracking, and reporting of data for the Network Services organization. Network Services is responsible for the planning, design, procurement, implementation, maintenance, and project/program management of data, wireless LAN, fixed wireless, voice, and firewall networks. The data will be used to identify trends, patterns, achievements, and areas for improvement, providing insights and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

The IT Support Analyst will work collaboratively with the leadership team, architects, engineers, and others across the Technology Organization (TO) to automate and support the organization s day-to-day business operations and long-term strategies.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Organize and analyze project and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and lead or assist with automation and continuous process improvements.
Assist with asset management initiatives to improve the accuracy and visibility of physical assets and associated licensing and support contracts, while developing processes and collaborating with other technology organization groups.
Assist with lifecycle planning and reporting of End of Sale/Support devices to facilitate the selection of annual lifecycle projects.
Support the Lifecycle Program Manager with reporting on program progress, budgets, year-end projections, successes, and pain points.
Assist with the development, administration, and reporting of training programs.
Support Network Capacity Planning and Implementation by:
Auditing systems and network capacity applications performance.
Measuring and reporting on the total and utilized capacity of a broad range of core IT infrastructure resources.
Preparing network performance models and planning capacity effectively.
Providing maximum capacity forecasting for all resource capacity requirements.
Designing and maintaining all performance capacity reports and statistics for management.
Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate project and operational metrics and findings to key stakeholders and management.
Lead efforts to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with standard processes.
Deliver monthly and quarterly reporting for project and operational KPIs.
Assist with network monitoring reporting, auditing, quality control, and documentation standards and best practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills) Education & Experience:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
Experience in reporting and analytics development, implementation, and automation, as well as data analysis and interpretation.
Proven experience in evaluating, recommending, and leading process improvements to automate or enhance operational efficiencies.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and similar tools.
Familiarity with Power BI, Sitetracker, Salesforce, and/or other dashboard or visualization tools. Experience with Python and/or SQL is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
A self-starter who can organize tasks, manage multiple priorities, meet schedules, and deliver on commitments.
Experience in a network, telecom, or other infrastructure role is advantageous but not required.
General/Leadership Competencies:
Ability to embrace, influence, and lead change.
Ability to negotiate with and influence others (internally and externally).
Ability to build relationships and work as a team although geographically dispersed.
Ability to provide and accept feedback.
Ability to analyze data for effective decision-making.
Effective oral and written communications skills and the ability to convey complex technical issues or processes in business terms.
Work Location & Hours:
This position will foreseeably be performed within a hybrid environment, allowing for remote work.
While there is no daily requirement to report to an office location, management may require employees to return to the office in the future.
The successful candidate can reside anywhere in the US, with a preference for Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, or Illinois.
Workdays are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with reasonable flexibility.
The successful candidate must attend occasional on-site meetings, training, or events and be willing to travel as needed.

The compensation range for this position is $50 to $60
