Solugenix is assisting a client, a prestigious and large investment management company in their search for an Instructional Design Specialist. This is a 12-month contract opportunity based out of San Antonio, TX (Remote).
This is a production-based role. The appropriate candidate will manage their own work under the direction of a project lead. Samples of past work via portfolio and/or personal website, are appreciated. The Position will focus on approximately 90% design and development. Candidates will work with Project Leads & client's SMEs to design/create/develop training from inception to execution for American Funds Service Groups (AFSG) client services-based departments.
Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design skills (focused on design and development) and adult learning theories.
- Ability to prioritize work and complete in a timely manner.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Strong detail orientation, organization, time management, and multi-tasking.
- Learning agility, as required for work assignments.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of local or remote teams.
- Identifies areas for improvement within client training processes and/or technologies and makes recommendations for solutions.
- Articulate 360 - Storyline and Rise
- Camtasia
- Video development/editing
- As part of the ADDIE model: Design and Development
- Ability to develop in various modalities: ILT/VILT, eLearning, self-paced, & virtual classroom
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Intermediate MS SharePoint Online experience (load, check-in, check out documents)
- Captivate
- Adobe Audition, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- NovoEd Learning Platform
- Graphic design
- Experience recording and editing audio
- As part of the ADDIE model: Analysis, Implementation, and Evaluation
- Assessment/Test design and development
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $48.28/hour to $48.28/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
