KPI Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst
Our client, a global asset management firm based in New York, NY, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Reporting & Reconciliation Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), management information systems (MIS), and financial metrics, ensuring accurate and timely daily, weekly, and ad hoc reporting. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, identify discrepancies, and assist with reconciliation tasks. Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of related experience working in a financial services firm, preferably with an asset management firm.
Responsibilities:
- Data Reporting & Metrics:
- Develop and maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports on KPIs, MIS, and key financial metrics.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data across various reports.
- Tools & Platforms Expertise:
- Leverage Duco (or similar data reporting platforms like Tableau or PowerBI) to create reports and manage reconciliation processes.
- Utilize IntelliMatch or other reconciliation platforms to manage and review reconciliation tasks efficiently.
- Data Validation & Reconciliation:
- Validate data from multiple sources, identifying discrepancies and ensuring reconciliation between systems.
- Work to resolve breaks and discrepancies quickly, ensuring timely and accurate data for reporting.
- Advanced Excel Skills:
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros) to manage and analyze data.
- Fixed Income Knowledge:
- Utilize knowledge of fixed income products (ideally loans and credit) to ensure the proper handling of relevant financial data.
- Support reporting on both buy-side and sell-side financial data, as applicable.
