Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
The FP&A Director will be responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support the company's financial goals and objectives. This role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in healthcare finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including forecasting, variance analysis, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes, including evaluating new business opportunities and investments.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
- Analyze and monitor cost structures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with various departments to optimize revenue streams and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
- Lead and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis tools. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
