Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant I provides essential administrative support to one or more individuals within a specified department. This role involves a variety of duties, including data entry, coordinating meetings, managing records, and handling departmental supplies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate high standards of professionalism and ethics in all business dealings, aligning with the company's excellent reputation in the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, coordinating conference rooms, and managing calendars.
- Records & File Management: Maintain accurate records and ensure proper file management in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Expense Management: Reconcile expense reports and invoices through the internal system. Ensure accuracy and timely processing.
- Supply Management: Order and manage departmental supplies, ensuring that necessary resources are available.
- Training & Class Support: Assist with training class organization and preparation.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- General Support: Perform additional administrative tasks as needed to support the department or team.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or
- High School diploma with relevant work experience.
Experience:
- Experience providing administrative support or similar roles preferred.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
