Senior Information Technology Business Analyst
We are seeking a Security and Compliance Business Analyst/Engagement Consultant to join our Technology Security and Compliance organization within Client-IT. The candidate must follow Client-IT’s project management and governance processes while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This role involves gathering and documenting requirements, overseeing testing processes, and ensuring the successful transformation of customer needs into application and system functionalities.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Lead requirement gathering sessions, document requirements, and review them with development and test teams.
- Identify workflow data and system specifications based on customer needs.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee testing processes, including reviewing test case definitions and analyzing test results.
- Prioritize bug fixes and ensure operational readiness for system releases.
- Customer Consultation & Engagement: Work closely with regional and national customers to manage functionality requests from triage to deployment.
- Conduct field visits, work with governance bodies, and analyze feedback/survey results.
- Lead internal testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Solution Development & Documentation: Create solution requirements, training materials, user guides, troubleshooting guides, and support guides.
- Develop and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Project & Client Management: Independently manage project tasks and meet milestone deadlines.
- Build strong relationships with clients and project managers to proactively address concerns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.
- Proven experience in systems/process analysis.
- Strong understanding of healthcare processes, workflows, applications, and policies.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Excel, Access, Captivate, and other analytical tools.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with Client.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare benefits, financials, pricing, actuarial, underwriting, sales, and account management.
- Familiarity with Client’s project management tools.
