Desktop Support Technician
Soni Resources is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide top-tier technical support to staff and consultants. This role ensures smooth IT operations by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, contributing to a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, application, and peripheral issues.
- Perform hardware refreshes, printer maintenance, and AV troubleshooting.
- Manage IT assets, including procurement, tracking, and disposal.
- Oversee system updates, software installations, and hardware upgrades.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding by preparing and configuring technical resources.
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, inventory, and asset assignments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in technical support or customer service.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS, and some Linux systems.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policy, and MDM solutions (Intune, JAMF, etc.).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- IT certifications (CompTIA, ITIL, etc.) are a plus.
Work Environment & Requirements:
- 5 days onsite support required - King of Prussia
- Office-based with occasional lifting of IT equipment (<10 lbs).
Compensation: $25-$28/hour
Pay is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
