The Director will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of immigration-related legal content, optimizing it for AI applications, and assisting in developing proprietary publications and legal resources. Key Responsibilities:

Content Management & Curation

  • Oversee and manage the accuracy, organization, and accessibility of our immigration legal content
  • Develop and maintain categorization systems to ensure intuitive navigation and usability
  • Regularly update and validate legal materials, ensuring compliance with the latest laws, policies, and court decisions
  • Assist in structuring and formatting content to optimize its use in AI applications, including structured data and prompt engineering.


Legal Research & Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze immigration law updates, including statutes, regulations, case law, and agency policies
  • Identify key trends and assess the impact of legal changes on immigration practitioners
  • Research and implement best practices for structuring legal content for AI retrieval, summarization, and automation.


AI & Technology Integration

  • Collaborate with AI engineers and product teams to structure legal content for AI-driven research
  • Research and develop effective prompt engineering techniques to improve AI-assisted legal analysis and drafting
  • Ensure content remains legally sound and ethically applied in AI-generated responses.


Writing & Publishing Proprietary Content

  • Assist in writing, editing, and publishing proprietary legal publications and guides to support the platform's expanding content library
  • Develop original articles, research reports, and instructional materials tailored for immigration professionals
  • Work with legal experts to create practical resources that enhance immigration attorneys' workflows.


Collaboration & Thought Leadership

  • Work with immigration attorneys, legal researchers, and policymakers to validate legal materials
  • Represent Visalaw.ai at conferences, industry events, and professional gatherings to stay informed on legal tech innovations and immigration law developments
  • Engage with users to gather feedback and continuously enhance content usability


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (legal studies, political science, library science, or related field preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal research, legal content development, or a related field
  • Experience with legal research tools and databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis, AILA publications)
  • Familiarity with AI in legal applications, legal tech, and prompt engineering is a plus
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with legal, product, and technology teams
  • Understanding of U.S. immigration law and policies is a plus
