Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst (Marketing) to join our Ads + Promotions team. The ideal candidate will be highly data-driven, leveraging insights to measure and optimize marketing and co-marketing campaigns for our merchant and CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) partners. This role requires expertise in SQL, data analytics, stakeholder management, and dashboard development. The analyst will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and marketing teams to enhance data collection, reporting, and decision-making processes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze onsite media, offsite media, and promotional campaigns to assess marketing effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data/reporting requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work with engineering and product teams to collect and structure relevant data from internal and third-party sources.
  • Build, update, and maintain dashboards & ETLs to automate reporting and provide real-time insights.
  • Implement data quality checks, conduct QA, and set up monitoring routines to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Provide descriptive analysis, performance sizing, and audience segmentation to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, intake sheets, and reporting expectations across multiple teams.
  • Ensure marketing analytics align with overall business objectives and data governance standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong SQL skills – Ability to write complex queries, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.
  • Experience in business intelligence and marketing analytics, with a focus on campaign measurement and performance reporting.
  • Proficiency in dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and ETL processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills – ability to lead meetings and manage reporting requests.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to handle shifting priorities and communicate blockers effectively.
  • Experience in data quality management, automation, and monitoring systems.
