Senior Accountant - CPA (Public Accounting Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting projects from development to implementation, driving measurable company progress.
• Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring and guiding less-experienced accounting professionals.
• Act as a strategic business partner to managers and executives, providing high-level accounting support.
• Ensure financial reports comply with GAAP and accurately reflect the company s financial position.
• Coach, advise, and train accountants, handling escalations for complex accounting issues.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Public accounting background with experience in research, accounting guidance, and memo writing.
• Ability to work hybrid from Inver Grove Heights, MN.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

• Familiarity with modern accounting methods and office procedures.
• Solid foundation in accounting fundamentals.
• CPA certification (active or exam eligible).
• Experience with finance ERP systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
