JOB SUMMARY: As part of the Global Pricing Team, the Sr. Dir/AVP Deal Desk, Pricing Transformation and Execution will be responsible for leading the recurring revenue Pricing transformation across all Claritev products and client pricing to create pricing based on value, market trends, competitors, and underlying cost structures. Leveraging data and analytics to assess customer pricing, product and client segmentation, revenue, and profit.

This is a fully remote position, but the candidate should be based in the United States of America.

Job Roles And Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the creation and management of the Deal Desk, ensuring alignment with organizational policies
  • As part of the Pricing and Subscription Transformation, Develop and execute scalable approval processes aligned to General Manager Divisions, System capabilities, and healthcare technology deals
  • Act as a strategic advisor for sales leadership, analyzing deal economics, optimizing pricing structures and client strategies
  • Oversee complex contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition policies
  • Drive continuous process improvements for deal structuring and contract management using tools like Salesforce and (future) CPQ systems
  • Monitor non-standard deal performance through metrics, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the exceptional operation of department.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

Job Scope

Responsible for overseeing pricing strategies for non-standard deal structuring and sales enablement processes to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency through pricing execution (CPQ leadership and implementation of pricing strategies). Works as a partner to Sales and Sales Operations and cross-functionally with Finance, Contracts/Legal, GM teams and Product to ensure adherence to strategies while optimizing non-standard deals and processes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, And Training)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) a strong plus
  • Proven experience (10-15+ years) in pricing management, preferably in Healthcare/Healthtech, or technology companies with an underlying skill set in SaaS, DaaS, etc. pricing constructs.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in SalesForce, pricing software and tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The salary range for this position is $180k-$225k annually with bonus potential and internal equity. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.
