Director of Quality and AccreditationAbout the Position:The Director of Quality and Accreditation is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality management and accreditation processes within the state funded behavioral health facilities. This role involves developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, and collaborating with various departments to maintain and improve the quality of care. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in healthcare quality management, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering safe and effective behavioral health services.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality improvement programs and initiatives specific to behavioral health.
- Oversee the accreditation process and ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular quality audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with medical staff, nursing, and other departments to achieve quality and accreditation goals.
- Monitor, track, and analyze quality metrics and outcomes.
- Develop and provide quality and accreditation education and training programs for staff.
- Identify and address potential quality and accreditation risks proactively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards related to quality and patient safety.
- Report on quality metrics and accreditation outcomes to senior management and governance committees.
- Participate in external quality and accreditation organizations and forums to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends.

- Primary Working Hours are M-F; 8-5
- FLSA Status: Exempt
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in healthcare quality management in a behavioral health setting, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a master’s degree.
- Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
