Description
The Associate Project Manager works as part of the project team, assisting with the development of scope & schedule for project work and executing minor project management duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage small to medium projects under limited direction.
- Apply advanced planning and scheduling techniques
- Present project status to the project team
- Develop bid templates
- Facilitate plan development
- Develop and document basic project management processes and procedures
- Provide resource (budget) requirement planning
- Identify issues and recommend alternate solutions
- Use Walgreen methodologies to develop project plans
- Ensure quality and timeliness of project deliverables
- Thorough knowledge of Walgreens's environment/needs and ability
- May conduct and will document all weekly meetings.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects.
- Assist in developing scope and schedule for assigned projects.
- Coordinate project tasks and activities of sub-contractors
- B.S. or B.A. Degree, or similar experience. Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Project Management and/or business experience, preferred
- Project Management experience in building/development/construction industry, preferred
- Skilled in defining project scope and requirements
- Excellent communication and time management skills to be able to manage fast-paced and constantly-changing work environment
