Landscape Designer
Job Title: Landscape Designer – Land Development & Civil Engineering
Location: Murrells Inlet, SC

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Landscape Designer with a strong foundation in land development and civil engineering. This role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, and planners to design sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor environments for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and planning of landscape projects for land development, including single-family, multifamily, and commercial developments.
- Work closely with civil engineers and project teams to integrate landscape solutions with site grading, drainage, and utility plans.
- Prepare conceptual site plans, landscape renderings, planting plans, and hardscape designs using AutoCAD
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments to support sustainable design solutions.
- Develop and review construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Ensure compliance with local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and permitting requirements.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and public hearings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in landscape design for Residential or Commercial projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, OR GIS mapping tools.
- Experience working with local and state regulations, permitting processes, and zoning requirements.
- Working towards Landscape Architecture License (PLA) is a plus.
