RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Position provides a variety of advanced administrative support to the assigned department at the plant.
  • Performs and coordinates administrative tasks (word processing, document preparation/management and file maintenance as required) related to the daily activities
  • Coordinates preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes and LOP for department management team weekly meeting.
  • Assist with department budget, training records, travel arrangements, expense reports, office supplies and record retention.
  • Coordinates management workshops.

  • Target/status system update.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the operations supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Associate degree a plus.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Fluent in German (either native speaker or certified in German language)
  • 3+ years of related administrative procedures
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Advanced = SAP - (Purchasing, Manager's Desktop, Finance, and Time Administration modules)
  • Advanced = presentation and organizational skills
  • Advanced = ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Intermediate = communication and organizational skills
  • Intermediate = computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outtask, etc.)
  • Intermediate = knowledge of organizational processes (budget, headcount)
  • Intermediate = using and/or knowledge and familiarity with a variety of office equipment (e.g. PC, Printers, Plotters, Video conference, etc...)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

  • Shift Schedule: Full-time
