Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) - Phoenix, AZ

About the Role: Join our team as a Java Developer, where you will be instrumental in developing Java-based microservices. You will work on complex initiatives with broad impact, involving large-scale planning and execution for software engineering projects. Your role will include reviewing and analyzing multifaceted challenges, contributing to their resolution, and strategically collaborating with client personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Java-based microservices using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
  • Deploy applications to the cloud using CI/CD pipelines.
  • (Preferred) Utilize Spring Reactive for enhanced performance.
  • Consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad impact.
  • Review and analyze large-scale or long-term software engineering challenges.
  • Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Top Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java-based microservices development using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
  • Experience with cloud deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
  • (Preferred) Experience with Spring Reactive.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly re-prioritize work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Initiative in identifying opportunities, areas for improvement, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Effective teamwork and collaboration across all organizational levels, with flexibility and adaptability.
