Our client, a leader in financial services technology, is looking to hire a Learning & Development Instructional Designer. This role will be onsite 3x per week in San Diego, CA.

*This job is a 4-month W2 contract role with benefits & paid holidays!*

As a Learning & Development Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for the design and development of Technology-Based training and instructor-led training packages, using data collection and analysis. You will have the opportunity to shape and execute educational content, services, and features across new and existing training, developing learning solutions that align with the needs of users and guide them from onboarding through professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Execute end-to-end learning content development that provides practice and feedback
  • Lead the development of tutorials, digital interactives, user guides, audio, and video content (including scripts), storyboards, simulations, activities, assessment tests, etc. that transform into professionally written, engaging learning.
  • Author text and build out video trainings and for learning performance-based content
  • Collaborate with developers to build content that cater to the needs of our client's audience
  • Improve existing content frameworks and patterns, utilizing metrics to manage project deliverables

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design or relevant field
  • 4+ years of experience with Articulate Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Audacity
  • Working experience implementing ADDIE methodology to content development
  • Must have an online portfolio that demonstrates your strengths in creating Learning Content Development
