Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking talented individuals for a W2 contract or a C2C opportunity in Lansing, MI. This role has the potential to extend over multiple years, with the chance to transition to a direct hire position with our client. Position Summary

• Write well-designed, testable code using NextJS, ReactJs, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, XML.
• MUST have strong experience in the NextJS Framework.
• Create visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end frameworks while considering state's accessibility standards.
• Work closely with back-end teams to design architecture for systems and applications.
• Utilize AWS services for user authentication, data management, content delivery, storage, and backend API interactions.
• Help design scalable and reliable cloud-based applications using AWS services.
• Understand core AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, and CloudFront.
• Work closely with backend developers to design and implement APIs, ensuring proper data communication between the front-end and cloud services.
• Implement techniques to ensure fast loading times and smooth user experience, including code optimization, image compression, and caching strategies.
• Ensure optimal website speed across devices and browsers and make sure websites work uninterrupted across browsers and systems.
• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) including experience in gathering requirements and writing functional/technical specifications for complex projects.
• Hands-on experience integrating software components into a fully functional software system.
• Extensive knowledge of source control tools such as GIT/Azure DevOps.
• Develop software design documents and work with stakeholders for review and approval.
• Exposure to flowcharts, screen layouts, and documentation to ensure logical flow of the system requirements.
• Experience or knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Top Skills & Years of Experience

• 10 years of Overall IT experience.
• 8 years in projects development using NextJS, ReactJS, and/or JavaScript HTML and CSS. MUST have strong experience in the NextJS Framework.
• 8 years' experience with AWS Cloud-based Application Development.
• 8 years' experience with Containerization Technology, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes.
• 8 years of utilizing AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and troubleshooting of AWS resources.
• 5 years using CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices.
• 5 years implemented agile development processes including test-driven development.
• 5 years' experience or knowledge of creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and handling continuous integration and deployment in AWS DevOps.
• 5 years experience developing micro-services.

Interview Process

Candidates submitted must be willing to come onsite (Lansing, MI) for interviews. May request virtual and/or onsite interviews. On-site: Hybrid position - Onsite 2 days per week - REQUIRED. CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO MID-MICHIGAN. Not currently interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept offer. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.

Duration: 1 year with possible extension.
