Requirements
What you bring to the table:
- 3-5 years of experience in the landscaping/construction industry desired
- Basic plant and pruning knowledge
- Capable of operations required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, overhead designs and specifications
- Knowledge of specific material, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape/construction practices
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a work day
- Attention to detail
- Manage the execution of landscape projects, planning labor requirements, equipment requirements, material deliveries and timing to ensure completion of jobs with deadlines
- Work directly with and communicate with the Project Manager and others
- Supervise, coordinate and participate in the day to day work activities
- Delegate job tasks to appropriate crew members to assist in the completion of landscape division duties
- Operate various tools and equipment including chainsaws, hand tools, pruning tools, dingo, tractor and skid steer
- Must have a valid driver's license
- CDL and / or Chauffeur’s license desired
