  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

This role will play a pivotal role in the business, leading commercial functions around trading physical power products within ISO’s and also bilaterally with counterparties.

CCO responsibilities.

  • Build a Trading and Origination team from scratch, manage stand-alone portfolio of renewable assets from a commercial perspective
  • Develop and maintain risk models for renewable energy portfolio (wind and solar)
  • Optimize energy margin through hedging activities including DA/RT, CRR and other ICE products
  • Manage day to day activities, including interactions with the ISO and third-party energy managers
  • Collaborate with origination team for future offtake opportunities for energy and other attributes

CCO experience;

  • 10+ years in wholesale power industry, preferably with renewable energy
  • In depth understanding of modelling and managing covariance risks
  • Good understanding of ERCOT fundamentals and market mechanisms
  • Trading short and long-term power
  • Congestion market, CRRs, FTRs
