Company Description

At GTI Consulting LLC, we believe small businesses are the backbone of America — and we’re here to help them grow stronger, smarter, and more sustainable. We’re a veteran-owned consulting firm that partners with blue-collar and main street businesses to tackle the 49% of business that’s often overlooked: strategy, marketing, operations, and financial planning. Our team thrives on solving problems, building relationships, and thinking way outside the box. If you love the idea of rolling up your sleeves and helping small business owners crush their goals, you're in the right place.

Role Description: Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time, Remote)

We’re on the lookout for a creative thinker, natural storyteller, and strategic social media pro who’s not afraid to do things differently. This part-time, remote role (10–20 hours/week) is all about helping GTI — and the small businesses we support — shine online.

You’ll be in charge of planning, creating, and scheduling content across social platforms, building brand voices, and experimenting with new ways to reach people. Your work will directly support business growth, customer engagement, and overall visibility for some amazing small businesses doing big things.

We're not looking for cookie-cutter strategies — we want someone who questions the norm, brings fresh ideas to the table, and gets excited about turning strategy into scroll-stopping content.

What You’ll Do

  • Create compelling social content for GTI and client accounts (posts, captions, graphics, reels, and more)
  • Plan and schedule campaigns across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
  • Analyze performance and adjust strategies based on what’s working
  • Stay on top of social trends and test new ideas and formats
  • Collaborate with our team and occasionally our clients to bring their brand stories to life
  • Support digital marketing efforts like Google Ads, blog content, and email marketing when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • A curious, creative, and strategic mindset — you don’t just “post,” you think about the why
  • Strong writing chops and an eye for design (Canva skills are a bonus!)
  • Experience managing social media accounts (yours or others — show us what you’ve got!)
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time
  • Basic understanding of metrics (likes and shares are cool, but conversions are cooler)
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot, Hootsuite, CoSchedule, or similar
  • Google Ads and email marketing experience are major pluses
  • Familiarity with small business life, veteran-owned businesses, or blue-collar industries is a bonus — but not required

Extra Credit

  • You're a veteran, military spouse, or someone who supports the military community — we would love to hear from you!
  • You’ve got a great sense of humor and love turning mundane info into something worth reading
  • You’ve ever said “what if we tried…” and then actually made it happen

Perks

  • 100% remote and flexible hours
  • The chance to make a real impact on real businesses
  • Work directly with a small, supportive team that believes in doing meaningful work — and having fun along the way
  • Opportunity for growth as GTI grows

Send us your resume and links to any past social media work, portfolios, or just something that shows your style. We want to see what makes you stand out.
