Team Rubicon (TR) is seeking a Manager, Advancement Operations & Strategy to join TR's Advancement team! The Manager, Advancement Operations & Strategy will serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO), overseeing department operations, strategic planning, and project execution. The Manager, Advancement Operations & Strategy will drive budget management, employee engagement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between Advancement priorities and organizational goals. The Manager, Advancement Operations & Strategy will oversee project management staff, facilitate senior leadership involvement in Advancement activities, and optimize operational processes. This individual must be a strategic leader with strong management experience, capable of balancing high-level planning with day-to-day execution.

Duties:
- Manage Advancement operations, ensuring strategic alignment and execution of key initiatives.
- Oversee and support project management team, ensuring effective project execution and coordination across teams.
- Lead department-wide strategic planning, tracking progress on key initiatives and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze and manage department budgets, partnering with Finance to monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation.
- Facilitate employee engagement efforts, including team retreats, professional development initiatives, and internal communications.
- Support senior leadership involvement in Advancement activities, ensuring effective participation in fundraising, marketing, and partner engagement efforts.
- Support the execution of TR’s annual Salute to Service gala, including logistics, planning, and coordination to ensure a successful event.
- Coordinate scheduling, material preparation, and logistics for the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO)’s participation in meetings, conference calls, and external engagements.
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison, driving collaboration across departments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in Advancement initiatives.
- Optimize internal processes, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
- Oversee the execution of special projects and organizational priorities as assigned by the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit operations, project management, strategic planning, or a similar role
- Proven management experience, with the ability to lead and mentor staff
- Strong budget management and financial analysis skills
- Experience in strategic planning and cross-functional project execution
- Ability to manage high-level stakeholders and executive priorities
- Proficiency in CRM, project management, and financial tracking tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- This is a full-time; remote position and can be based anywhere within the United States and provides a flexible & non-traditional work schedule (relocation expenses not provided)
- Evening and weekend schedule supporting leadership meetings, video conferences, events, and operations
- Required: This position requires up to 20% travel for site visits, conferences, and donor meetings
