Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in budget control, expense management, and project schedule adherence.
- Manage submittal approvals and shop drawings to ensure on-time material deliveries.
- Conduct pre-construction meetings with subcontractors and assist in project planning.
- Maintain As-Built drawings and project documentation.
- Serve as on-site quality manager, ensuring materials meet specifications and approved submittals.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and owner representatives; attend progress meetings.
- Distribute proposal change documents to subcontractors and assist with pricing reviews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Provide support during construction and commissioning phases, supervising site activities.
- Ensure jobsite safety compliance and assist in enforcing safety policies.
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management (or 2-4 years of relevant field experience).
- Ability to adapt and learn company processes, with a strong foundation in construction practices.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and documentation.
- Decision-making ability under tight deadlines in dynamic work environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Flexibility to travel and work in different locations as required.
- Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Requires lifting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and operating equipment.
- Work around heavy machinery and moving equipment.
- Exposure to loud noise and harsh weather conditions.
