Job Title: Data Analyst

Contract Role- 6-12 Months

Onsite Role

Required:
The Technical Business Analyst II will perform the following tasks:
v Utilize Department of Motor Vehicle Database to research client information
v Utilize CLEAR to research client information.
v Utilize Account to research client information.
v Utilize Human Resource Administration databases to research client information.
v Utilize the New York State OTDA s databases to research and update client information.
v Tabulate statistical and performance outcomes utilizing Excel.
v Perform ad-hoc data analysis for OCSS leadership.
Desired skill set for position:
Demonstrated effective business analysis and database utilization skills with experience in producing reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook (including sending/receiving attachments). Solid mathematical skills; analytical thinker, strong organizational and prioritizing skills; effective oral and written communication skills; interpersonal skills.

REASON/ RATIONALE/ NEED FOR PROJECT:
The CLU workload has increased in pace with overall increased programmatic expectations and staffing shortages causing work backlogs. The recent COVID pandemic is further increasing the backlog issue. Therefore, the remaining specialists are unable to facilitate all the required client research which is essential in the pursuit of obtaining court orders to serve clients and fulfill Federal and State mandates. The Technical Business Analysts are needed to assist with the current workload and backlog.
